This one's for me!

It's been a while since I've posted.  I have been very busy crafting.  My sales are growing each year.  That's a good thing!  I rarely keep anything that I make, but time's are changing.  I couldn't let this go.   I have one for sale in my Etsy shop, minus the second shoe.  Just the mousie with his stocking.  There is another up for auction on Ebay.   I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.  I had lots of family on Thursday, and Friday.  I'm all turkeyed out!   I can't wait to get my Christmas decorations up.  I see so many of you have already started.  I ordered an artificial Christmas tree for this year and my family is having fits.  The kids are all out on their own, and still think they should have a say. LOL... I have a thing for over decorating my tree.  Every year it droops within 3 days, and I hate it!  I'm getting stubborn in my old age.  The artificial tree can stay up longer, and handle my huge ornament collection.  The saga will go on.  I'll let you know if it's going to be the real thing,  or not.

  2. That little mouse is SO stinkin' cute! And your artificial tree will be just fine...I quit using live ones since we were first married. My BIL harvested a tree from the mountains that broke my heart to think we just cut it down. The kids will get over it - XOXO Tanya

  4. I think more and more about an artificial tree each year. I like the ideal of being able to keep it up longer and no neddles all over the floor....LOL. Love the shoes, I have been keeping Erika's white shoes all these years , I think I should craft with them and keep them. Just like you , I never keep any of my own items. Colleen

  5. Love your little mouse in the shoe ~ so adorable.
    Congrats on all your sales!
I stopped getting real trees when we remodeled our downstairs ~ I just didn't want to deal with the needles in the carpet any more. I love the artificial trees so much that I have more than one.
Hope you find what makes you happy!

  8. Oh yes, that is a keeper! I've never seen one like it, love it :) Yes, things change, but it sounds like your kids would like to come back home to their old fashioned Christmas'. We switched to an artificial tree as well.
I'm happy to hear your sales are doing well. It takes a while and lots of work :)
    Blessings,
    Carol
