Winter wonderland and new Annies

I woke up to our third snowfall in a week.  We got another 5".  I snapped two pictures from my front porch, early this morning.
Our lake is frozen, but there's too much snow on it to skate.  We have been enjoying the sledding.

I finished four Angel Annie dolls last night.  They will make their way to my Etsy shop later today.

Happy Birthday to my Daughter, Kate.  She's 22 today!

New Bears on Etsy

We have about 9 inches of fresh snow on the ground. It's beautiful, but too cold for me. I'm staying warm inside, while getting some crafting and listings done.
I was able to make two more quilt bears from the old cutter quilt that I had. It's all gone now, but boy oh boy did I get a ton of stuff made from it. I also made the same bear from a piece of Vintage wool tweed that I purchased this Summer at a yard sale.  I used the wool tweed to make Bedford Snowman's jacket.  He is a Kindred Spirits pattern.
All items are listed on my Etsy. Thanks for taking a peek!

I'm back to sewing.

After a too short of a break, I'm back to sewing.  I needed to make up a few Valentine's day items.  I made a primitive heart wreath cupboard hanger.  The heart is made from an old cutter quilt.  I only had enough left to make three hearts.  Boo-hoo...
Then, I found the directions for these hearts with a hole in the center.  When I purchased this pattern years ago, I couldn't for the life of me figure it out!  No problem now, they are a bit time consuming, but worth the etra effort.

This is set of hearts are my own design.  I make the backing using two pieces of fabric, for a neater look.
I call these, Prairie hearts.   I fell in love with the old feel of the prints. They are a bit larger measuring 7" long.

I should have some Primitive bears finished in a few days.  I'll post them when they're done.
