I finally got my motivation back

I think my slump might be over, and I'm climbing out of this funk.  The first task on hand is getting a Pedicure!!! What do you think?  I need one bad.  My little friends don't mind one bit!

I finally listed some new items on my website and etsy shop.  The first is a little Patriotic Raggedy.  She's one of my favorites.  I'm keeping her sister for now.

 The next is a remake of my very popular BOO pumpkins.

To get back on track with the season, I made some watermelon bowl fillers.

I have some new stuff made from my own designs.  I need to learn how to make e-patterns.  I want to list them after my e-pattern comes out.  I fear the dreaded copycats if I don't.   Any help would be appreciated.   Everyone have a wonderful week, and thanks for peeking at my creations and toes!!!

This is what Mother's day is all about...

I had four children that I love to pieces, and are my life. The best reward for having them is my Granddaughters. (I hope to have many more!).
This is my 5 year old Granddaughter Grace playing in her first year of t-ball.  Am I a proud Grandmother?
You better believe it!!!

Happy Mother's Day All!!!!!!  I hope you all get to spend it with your family and loved ones!

Upcoming open house

Pam Burton asked me to join her open house this year at Firefly Gardens.  We've been working hard getting ready.

  Pam will be selling her beautiful floral wreaths along with fresh flowers and herbs.

I've been sewing like crazy.  I have new Raggedy's  watermelon door hangers, along with new Christmas and Halloween prims not yet listed on my sites.

Look what came in the mail today

My daughter Kate ordered six mallards. The local post office called this morning to tell us they were there and we needed to come pick them up.  Oh my Goodness!  How cute are they?  She wants to raise them and let them loose on our lake.  I'm worried that there are too many predators and they won't survive.  We shall see. I have to think positive!

Prim Pillows and Little Dot.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  We sure did.  The granddaughters were so precious in their Easter dresses.  We had a huge family tractor/wagon ride with all the cousins, aunts and uncles to two secret egg hunts.  They had a ball!  At the second hunt location there were five loose kayaks on our lake.  Three of them held an egg with a nice cash prizes inside.  This was a nice distraction for the big kids, and oh so funny to watch while the little ones ran around the yard egg hunting.
On to my newest craze.  PILLOWS!  I had fun with paint and stencils.  I think my favorite is the flag one.
Each is hand painted and walnut stained.  I really love walnut stain.  No stale coffee smell!!

I need to get busy listing everything. I hope to be back in a few days with the finished bathroom pictures.  It's almost finished!   Have a wonderful week everyone.

We are slowly moving along, a new doll and a Birthday girl.

The bathroom project is turning out to be truly a project. Oh my!! The walls are up and the floor is in.  I'm waiting on the tile guys to come back to put the subway tile on the bottom 48" of the walls. In the mean time, we decided to finish sanding and start painting. I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.  LOL..

Last week we celebrated Ava's third birthday.  I can't believe how fast my sweet granddaughters are growing.  Ava and Grace just love their Auntie Kate.

I just finished three of these dolls.  One is up for sale in my Etsy shop.  I gave the other two to Ava and Grace. I made them with hair colors like the girls, and holding their favorite flavors of ice cream. They turned out so cute!
