New Bunnies and Gingers.

I had a special order to make five primitive gingerbread men.  It was a sweet distraction from Rabbit Season.
I've been up to my bunny ears in rabbits for a while now.  I made the  three pictured  using a Sweet Meadows farm pattern.
The Gingerbread were made from a Homespun hugs and calico kisses pattern.

The bunnies and Some of the gingers will be in my Etsy shop soon.
I have five 9 1/2" prim gingerbread available, and will take orders for more.
Can never be too prepared for the Holidays!

Bunnies, and more bunnies

I just finished up some small prim bunnies.  I have one more raggedy bunny to finish, and then I'm done with Easter. I've been wanting to make some dolls before starting fall/halloween.  Yes, I said it! I swore I would start earlier this year on my fall/Christmas crafting. It's my favorite.  I have more ideas than time.
I was inspired by a pattern by Vicky at homespun hugs and calico kisses for the little bunny in the vintage jell-o mold.  They turned out so cute.  The primitive pocket rabbit  is my version of a Tennessee ridge primitives pattern.

I will be adding them to my Etsy shop tonight.

New Prim bunny and babies finished

I have two sets of this prim bunny rabbit doll and her three little primitive bunny babies finished.
I did craft shows and sold in shops for years so, I can never make just one!  I would love to, but just can't make it happen. The bunny has a hanging loop and looks equally as well sitting.
I would love to keep a set for myself.  They make me smile.
This is a prin black painted bunny with her three little babies. She's 18" from her toes to her ear tip.
I used a "Blue moon beginnings" pattern to make this set.
I'm listing a set on Ebay and Etsy tomorrow.

Prim buny rabbits and estate sale finds

There was a local estate sale this morning.  Having yardsale withdrawl this winter, I forced myself out of bed and got there early. It wasn't what I expected, but I did come home with a few goodies.
Not too bad for an early morning pick.  I collect  old glass storage jars for one of my Christmas projects. This one has a ground lid.  I want to put a small Christmas tree on the scale.  I'm always thinking about Christmas projects!
I finished some Easter bunnies.  They are listed in my Etsy shop. I made two of the bunny in the jellybean print dress, one has already sold.

I used patterns by Patti's Ratties, and Homespun hugs and calico kisses to make the bunnies.

What has more holes, the salt shaker or the pepper?

I want you opinion and view on this subject.   I bought a vintage S & P shaker set on eEsy.  They match my McCoy nesting bowls and canister set that I have on my kitchen counter.  One has two holes,  and one has three.  The holes are the same size. What goes in what?
I googled the subject and  found that history and opinions vary.  I always thought it was cut and dry.  Emily Post doesn't have an answer.  I'm shocked!  Lenox says the salt goes in the one with more holes.
Give me your opinion, then I'll post what I did and why.  LOL..
I do have some dollies finished finally, I'll get them posted soon.

Hippy Hop, I finished Bunny

It's been a crazy winter here at my house. Between Blizzards, cold, and ice,  we have been remodeling  and changing out stuff.
I sold my entire dining room set on Ebay. Then, I started a major remodel in my upstairs.  That won't be finished until this time next year.  I can only squeeze out so many "Honey do's" from my poor hubby.
I shopped and found new very old antiques for the dining room.  I still need a table.
In between all of it, I've been watching the 2 little Granddaughters, and keeping the two home businesses going.
I've continued to create. If I didn't, I would not be a happy camper. I thrive on creating my dolls and prims.
This is my latest finished item.  I have him listed in my Etsy Shop.

I'll post dining room pictures as soon as it's finished.  I found that I had an old bucket bench just sitting in my basement.  It was here 26 years ago when we moved in! Can you believe it?  I never knew that it was anything but a crude shelf until recently. LOL.... It's going in the dining room as soon as the poor ole hubby can tune it up.
Have a wonderful week, and Happy Valentines day All!
